The Shareholders Club curl on Wednesday evenings at 6 o'clock. The Duncan Johnston Trophy is contested from September till Christmas with the Crookedstone Salver and the Pairs Competition taking up the second half of the season. In addition shareholders enjoy Opening, Christmas and Closing Bonspiels. There is a reduced ice fee for the competitions and no charge is made for the Bonspiels.
The curling, although competitive to a degree, definitely leans towards the fun and friendly with many shareholders staying for a meal after the game.
Anyone wishing to purchase an Ice Rink share (Fixed Cost £250) or any existing shareholders wishing to join this merry band then please contact the Ice Rink Office.
Some of our Clubs hold shares in the Ice Rink. These clubs are entitled to one entry in each competition for every share held. Again contact Janette in the office for more details.
